Barry M capuccino nail paint

I love Barry M nail polishes I already have alot of different shades. I was abit disappointed with the a/w shades this year. I really wanted something nice for autumn. I came across the capuccino colour and thought I would try it.
It is a lovely browny/ purpley/ grey colour. Easy to apply, only needed 2 coats and I also applied a top coat. I usually do with barry m nail varnishes that arent't in the gelly range as I do find they chip easily if you don't.
This along with my berry cosmo nail varnish by barry m will be my favourite autumn/ winter shades.

Ysl rouge volupte- Nude beige

I have been looking for a pink/ nude lipstick for my wedding so when I saw this on pinterest I had to try it.

I went to Debenhams while they had a 10% off offer on and asked the assistant to try this one.

It is Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte silky sensual radiant lipstick in nude beige. The packaging is gorgeous and very sturdy.
I love this lipstick, as the name suggests it is very silky when applied.
I always apply lipsticks over a lip balm because I do tend to have slightly dry lips. It doesn't stay in any of my lines and lasts a good few hours before needing to be reapplied. It is a lovely nude pink shade. It is a definitely one of my most expensive items of makeup at £25 but definitely worth it.

Clinique chubby stick lip balm in Super Strawberry

I got this as part of a free gift when I bought 2 products from Clinique around 6 months ago. They retail at £17 usually. I tried it and thought ugh way too dark and has been in my makeup bag ever since.

I thought I would give it another try and surprisingly I really like it. A nice autumn/winter shade. It has no scent and feels like a lip balm. It last as long as a lip balm would so around an hour or so.

Sonia Kashuk Matte palette

I wanted a matte eyeshadow palette rather than shimmery eyeshadows I already own. I spent a lot of time looking at matte palettes online. I was thinking of getting Urban Decay but after watching youtube videos and reading reviews I went for the Sonia Kashuk matte palette. Only problem was I don't have a target store in the UK. I found this palette on ebay for £15 :).

I love this palette, they are not chalky and blend really well. I do find matte eyeshadows can be harder to blend though. The lighter shades do not show up that well on my skin. For a day look I do use the lighter shades but for a night out I will add a shadow with a slight shimmer.
The bottom 6 shades are very pigmented and you don't need much to create a lovely brown smokey eye.

I use colour number 2 over the lid, number 6 as a transition colour and number 9 in my crease and to line my lower lash. For a more dramatic look you can add number 12 to the crease to darken it more.

I love love love this palette and I hope I can repurchase when it runs out.

Avon Gel Finish Nail Varnish

These were on sale 2 for £7 so I thought I would try Royal Vendetta and Sheer Love.

I really like these gel nails, they apply well and last around 5-7 days before chipping. I usually apply 3 quite thin coats so it is all even.

Royal vendetta is a lovely royal/ dark blue. I applied Opi silver glitter nail varnish as my accent nail.

Sheer Love is a nice pink. It is quite sheer as the name suggests, I can still see my nail through after 3 coats. I applied a butterfly decal as my accent nail. I might do a seperate post for these. I do prefer a more pastel pink but this is still nice.

I am really pleased with these nail colours they last well and look nice on. I don't think I would pay £7 each for them though, I would rather buy Barry M gellies at £4 each. They have alot more colours too.

Barry M Loudmouth Extreme Liquid Lip Colour

I accidently stumbled upon these lip colours in the ASOS beauty sale this week. They were £2.50 each, usually £3.99. So I thought why not give them a try.

I don't wear lipstick or lipgloss much, I only own one other lipstick!! I am a late starter with lippies.

I bought Tell Tale and Screamer.

You really don't need a lot when applying, I put way too much on at first.

Tell Tale is a nice nudey pink colour. I was after a colour like this, that I can wear every day but also for a night out. It would look lovely with a smokey eye.

I took a risk with screamer, i'm not really a coral fan. At first I applied far too much and looked like a clown ha, but when I applied less, it looked better. It is a nice pinky coral colour depending how much you apply. The colour can be built up to be more corally but I don't think it suits me.

The texture is good, not sticky at all and has a pleasant smell. They are not drying but I do prefer to wear these with carmex balm underneath but that is just my preference, I don't think you need it to wear these colours.  It lasts a couple of hours before needing to be reapplied. I apply them with my finger.
